IISD RFP Questions

1 / 7 – Who will be responsible for updating the content on the site?

Will there be a site administrator(s) that will be responsible for posting all new content to the site or is there an expectation for site visitors to be able to post their own content to the site (similar to a forum)?

2 / 7 – Will IISD representative(s) fully manage the site and the updated content?

Or is there an expectation for each of the partners to have access to the site and contribute to the weekly content updates?

3 / 7 – Multilingual limitations for downloadable content.

Understanding that Google Translate will be leveraged for the multilingual aspect of the build, we simply wanted to identify that Google Translate is not able to translate PDFs/Downloadable content. Are there any concerns with this?

4 / 7 – Will the branding guidelines and requirements be provided at the start of the project?

Following this statement in the RFP, we are simply looking to clarify at what point in the process this will be provided and if it will be provided in the form of a Branding Guideline – “The initiative will have branding to be defined by IISD and partners, to be featured on the header of the website and throughout the landing space."

5 / 7 – What is the name of the knowledge hub?

Is the name of the hub “Just Transition Hub” or is the name yet to be determined?

6 / 7 – What platform are you using to manage your subscribers (and email marketing)?

There may be capabilities to “feed” the subscribers from the website Subscribe form to your platform (depending on which platform you’re using).

7 / 7 – Is there a budget and timeline that you’re looking to remain within?

Understanding the budget and timeline will allow us to appreciate what type of measures we’ll need to put into place to remain within both (budget and timeline). Please include the initial budget as well as ongoing support/maintenance budget, if available.
